Marriage | 3 June 1930 | Marriage: Raphael Haas and Florence Lorene Bremer were married on 3 June 1930 at Catholic ChurchB in Robbinsdale, Hennepin, Minnesota, United StatesB. ----- Source: The Loyal Tribune 12 June 1930 ----- Bremer, Florence (3 JUN 1930) A pretty wedding was solemnized at the Sacred Heart Church, Robinsdale, Minn., at 8 o’clock A. M., June 3, 1930, when Miss Florence Bremer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Bremer, became the bride of Mr. Raphael Haas, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Haas of Loyal, the Rev. Father Blum, officiating. They were attended by Miss Roslyn B?tzold and Mr. Edwin Foltz, cousins of the groom. The bride wore an attractive gown of pale green silk chiffon with hat to match, and carried a shower bouquet of cream roses and baby breath. The bridesmaid wore sea green flat crepe with hat to march and carried a bouquet of pink roses. The groom wore a dark blue suit and his attendant wore oxford grey. After the wedding ceremony the newly weds motored to the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Bremer, where a wedding reception was held that evening, there having about one hundred guests present. The home was very attractively decorated with streamers of pale green, pink and white, and huge bouquets of bridal wreath ferns. On Wednesday the couple was treated to a miscellaneous shower at the Bremer home by their young friends, and after a very social evening, a dainty lunch was served. About forty guests were present. They were presented with a large assortment of pleasing individual gifts from several friends. Both the bride and groom are well and favorably known here, the bride being a graduate of the Loyal High School, class of ’27. The groom whose occupation is farming, is a young man of excellent character. Mr. and Mrs. Haas left Thursday morning by auto for a two weeks trip to Iowa and Minnesota. The Tribune joins their many friends in wishing them a long and happy wedded life.2 |
