Lois was born April 19, 1928 in Clay County, Illinois to Roy and Eva May (Jennings) Devore. She was married on October 7, 1944 in Clay County, Illinois to Nolan Vance McNeely who survives her. Lois and Nolan were the parents of three children, Larren (Jimmee), Daniel (Brenda), and Deanna (Ted Bennett) who also survive her. She is survived by her grandchildren, Karen (Eric Weber), Daniel Jr. (Kate), Erin (Jeffery Struckhoff), Alden (Adam Schnaus), Gwenn Bailey; and Alyssa, Emily, and Juliana Bennett. Lois is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Conor and Daniel McNeely; Delaney and Kellan Struckhoff; Kaylyn, Carter and Audrey Schnaus; and Alexander, Bruce, and Collin Bailey. Her brother Lester Devore of Urbana, Illinois, and her niece Lois Carol Knierim of Effingham, Illinois also survive her. She was preceded in death by an infant brother; her sister, Josephine Keck; her brother, William Devore; and infant great-granddaughter, Madison McNeely.
