Final rites were conducted Saturday afternoon for Mrs. Anna E. Alsop, at the Chaney Funeral home chapel. Dr. Lawrence W. Johnson, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, officiated and burial was at Dallas, Tex.

Mrs. Alsop died Friday mornng at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dan Jones, 413 Locust street,
McAlester.

She was born September 15, 1871, at Iuka, Ill.

Mrs. Alsop came to Krebs, in 1900, to open a millinery and dress shop which she operated there for several years. She later moved her business to Harts horne, staying there until retiring a few years ago.

Survivors, in addition to the daughter, include a brother, Lou Blackburn of Claremore; and three sisters, Mrs. Dora Monroe of Claremore; Mrs. Ruby King of Catoosa; and Mrs. Beatrice Hart of Tulsa.2
