Malone died at 12:29 a.m. Thursday, May 14, 1992, at Saint Francis Medical Center. Born Oct. 22, 1949, in Pekin to Clyde C. and Ann Closen McKinley, he married Terri McKinley. She survives along with his mother, Ann Closen Mans of Peoria; two sons, Clyde Jr. and James, and two daughters, Christine McKinley and Anna McKinley, all of Ladysmith, Wis.; and two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence (Nancy) Vaupel of Clearwater, Fla., and Mrs. Eugene (Sharon) Nation of Tarpon Springs, Fla. His father preceded him in death. He served in the Army during the Vietman War with the Corps of Engineers. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Endsley & Son Funeral Home, 1417 S. Stanley. The Rev. John H. Stanley will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made to any charity.1 |

Marquette died at 1:19 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, 1992, at his home. He was born Jan. 13, 1953, in Peoria to Frederick and Violet Heslin Closen. Surviving are three sons, David, Darren and Douglas, and one daughter, Deanna Closen, all of Peoria; four brothers, Frank and Jerry, both of Pekin, John of Peoria and Charles of Bartonville; and two sisters, Catherine Wissel of Glasford and Mary Ann Hamm of Pekin. His parents and two infant brothers preceded him in death. A disabled veteran, he served in the Army during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Germany and the United States. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. Services will be at 10 a.m Thursday at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. The Rev. Duane Leclercq will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Peoria. Memorials may be made to a trust fund for his children in care of Norwest Bank in Peoria.1 |
